Brief:
Create a short, powerful film to promote the launch of the new Thrudark Ronin ski and snowboard clothing range.

Founded by former Special Forces Operators, ThruDark encompasses their specialist military experience in everything they do, seeing themselves as masters of their craft and their own destiny. A brand that trusts their own instincts and carves their own path. It is by this double edged sword that they hold themselves equally responsible for their own successes and shortcomings which feeds into their ethos “Honesty. Integrity. Loyalty.”

 

The story of the 47 Ronin is essentially one of dedication at great cost, of ultimate commitment to a cause. The meaning of Ronin is defined as ‘a wandering samurai who had no lord or master’ Its translation to the Alpine Sports Range is twofold, being both a reminder and an inspiration – of the need to endeavor through adversity and an example of what can be achieved if you stay the course in the pursuit of excellence.

 

The way of the samurai means a multi-discipline approach to adversity and alpine sports is no different. A range that has been pushed to the limit in rigorous testing environments in conditions beyond the usual wear and tear testing of other brands. Whether you’re a mountaineer, a snowboarder or a backcountry skier, Ronin is designed to enhance your performance year-round across snow or rock.
